When I did my injectors, I first marked the plenum where they needed to be ground. Then after I had the plenum off I did the grinding. That way I could feel how thick the wall was, and not grind through it. So now, I can replace any injector without having to pull the plenum or having to grind the plenum and get aluminum filings all over the top of the engine. My stock '91 injectors were not purple, looks like someone replaced them all before you got the car. Shoot me an e-mail if you need some help working on your car. I'm in PDX.
